Have the exhibition at your school or venue
The exhibition was designed to travel to different venues with the aim of prompting thought. In each scenario, you are asked to think 'In this situation, does gender matter? Should gender be a barrier or an obstacle? What exactly do we mean by gender?'
Challenge
Talking about LGBT+ topics is still something that makes many teachers and young people uncomfortable. This exhibition prompts questions from young people which challenges staff to answer. Furthermore, it pushes staff to consider the rest of the work they do in lessons and where they can include LGBT+ content.
Value
Schools that have displayed the exhibition have commented on the impact that they have had. From the conversations that have been sparked and the improved sense of wellbeing that comes with the visibility, to highlighting and challenging pre-conceived ideas and prejudices that are then worked on to improve LGBT+ inclusion across the schools. This has often then pushed schools to consider what more can be done to improve visibility.

All schools that host the exhibition will receive a FREE set of digital prints for each image in the exhibition to display around the school.
